The pots were created in collaboration with NOA Aachen design office and Apple's iPod MP3 player was the inspiration for the pot lids. Made of stainless steel and silicone, the lid has four different functions, based on the iPod's control wheel. Practical, because depending on the position, liquids can be eliminated completely or in a controlled way with the lid closed: the cooking water flows out of the large openings of the sieve, the pasta remains in the pot. The same works with the small openings of the rice sieve. The closed position is for cooking with little water and the open position is for the complete discharge of liquids. The red ring in the lid is a real eye-catcher. Made of heat-resistant silicone, it always fits securely in the pot. Heat transfer is reduced by the special hollow handles, so they stay cool longer. For long cooking times or for use in the oven, pot holders or oven mitts are required to open the lid and transport the pot. The pots have internal scales for easy dosing of liquids and are made of indestructible Cromargan®. The base for all TransTherm® cookers is also suitable for induction, transfers heat from the stove quickly and directly and stores heat for a long time. The series includes various cookware, from the pan to the steamer insert to the saucepan.
