Just as the name suggests, 火花 Hibana in Japanese means spark, these beautiful knives have a San Mai blade with 49-layer Spark Damascus, whose pattern recalls sparks. In addition to giving elegance and style to the knife, the Damascus Spark strengthens and protects the core in FC61 Steel. Additionally, FRIODURx2 hardening improves the microstructure of the steel for superior cutting performance and corrosion resistance. The triple-rivet handle with central mosaic pin, typical of Japanese knives, features a curved and ergonomic reinforcement that guarantees comfort and ease of use. Sleek black and brass spacers add beauty and weight to the handle while enhancing grip and maneuverability at the tip. Like the other Miyabi series it is made in Seki, Japan. All blades are hand sharpened using the 3-step Honbazuke process.
